Zlatan Ibrahimovic : Ac Milan ready to deal with derby

Zlatan Ibrahimovic AC Milan Striker
Zlatan Ibrahimovic enthusiastically welcomed the derby this weekend. The former Barcelona striker was also expressed his opinion about the derby from the viewpoint of the player, knowing Ibra has experience diving Inter Milan derby as a player.

"When we approached the high-tension derby is always there, all the newspaper talk about it, the reputation of the two clubs held. This great game and even a challenge. The whole world is watching and fun to play. It is also important for the Scudetto," said AC Milan's striker.

"The players naturally think of the game. What's going on outside and with the issue of transfer is a complement, we read newspapers and know everything, but we just think the game this Sunday," said Ibrahim, quoted by the Italian Football.

"We need only focus on the game itself and not thinking about what to do Juventus. We are all ready and are waiting for the derby," close the Swedish national team striker

£1 Billion for Luka Modric

Well it doesn't look like Luka Modric will be packing his bags, moving away from Tottenham and heading up North to Manchester or staying in the area and joining Chelsea. Not unless United or Chelsea, the two clubs linked with the Croatian midfielder are prepared to pay £1 billion for him.

Harry Redknapp, the Tottenham manager has led this Spurs side to a Champions League quarter final, beating one of the most successful European teams in AC Milan on the way. Luka Modric played a vital part in both helping Tottenham into the top four last season and their brilliant, over achieving success of reaching the latter stages of the prestigious European competition this year. The Tottenham manager emphasised the invaluable qualities that the 25 year-old holds in the side with a rather exaggerated expected transfer fee:

"I wouldn't want to sell him for £100 million, not even for a billion.
"He's the hub of the team."He made his point. Of course, Redknapp would sell Modric for £1 billion - not that anyone - not even Manchester City would pay that ludicrous amount. But it is a clear statement that Modric is not for sale, and if an offer were to come in, it would have to be quite a substantial amount.

Modric only signed a long term contract at Spurs last year, and the players' representative, Mario Mamic reiterated Redknapps sentiments:

"These are just rumours. Luka has a contract until 2016 and Tottenham have no plans to sell him. He has an excellent relationship with coach [Harry] Redknapp and only signed a contract extension with Spurs last summer."

The rumours that Mamic spoke of refer to apparent interest from several English clubs including Manchester United and Chelsea as well as Italian side Juventus and Inter Milan. Certainly, Modric has his fans; he is a fantastic player and has been described by the former Chelsea assistant Ray Wilkins as one of the best midfielder's in the Premier League. Gerard Houllier, the current Aston Villa manager also heaped praise on Modric:

"Not only is he a very hard worker, he has a good brain and he provided some calmness and composure to the midfield. His passing was neat and his contribution was outstanding. He was not only winning the ball, he was passing well. We thought that he was very influential. He did not just work hard, he made the other people play well around him."

He may not be worth £100 million or £1 billion, but Luka Modric is certainly a fantastic asset to Tottenham, and understandably has the best teams in the world watching him.

Top 10 most memorable Beckham moments in MLS

David Beckham has at least two more seasons of memories he plans on giving MLS and LA Galaxy fans. For now, here's the countdown of the top 10 moments that stand out from his first five seasons in MLS:
  •  August 29, 2009: This SuperClásico was decided courtesy of a wonder shot by Beckham, who knocks the ball off the left post for the lone goal of the match with 10 minutes remaining. It was his first goal of that 2009 season – but did he mean it?
  •  November 7, 2010: The Seattle Sounders still held out hope of overturning their first-leg aggregate goal series against the Galaxy after losing 1-0 in Seattle. But Beckham promptly quashed all hopes with two picture-perfect assists to Edson Buddle and Omar Gonzalez inside the first 30 minutes to liquidate the Sounders.
  • August 23, 2007: Just before halftime of yet another SuperClásico, Beckham and ex-Chivas USA midfielder Jesse Marsch got up close and personal after a rough tackle near midfield. Marsch delivered a high kick from behind and the Englishman took exception. He probably wasn’t in the best of moods after arriving only hours before from London, where he played for England against Germany. His mood wasn’t improved after a 3-0 loss to Chivas.
  • July 27, 2009: It was an incident that marked the midway point of Beckham’s stay in MLS, when his dedication to the club was questioned after completing loan deals at AC Milan. While preparing to take a throw-in with 10 minutes to go in Kansas City, his first game back from the first AC Milan loan stint, Beckham confronted a fan in the stands, who shouted comments about him and his wife.
  • The incident came days after he got into a shouting match with a Galaxy fan following the conclusion of an exhibition match against AC Milan. He was later fined $1,000 by the league for that incident. The irony of the KC episode was the jersey that the fan in question was wearing. “Is that an England shirt?” Beckham asked the fan before shaking the hand of another supporter. He eventually took the throw-in.
  • July 28, 2011: Beckham took on the club where he became a star during the 2011 MLS All-Star Game at Red Bull Arena, going a full 90 for the MLS squad in a 4-0 loss to Manchester United. He was the only MLS player to play the full match and he backed up the pregame hype with one of the better performances by an MLS player.
  •  April 3, 2008: Year 2 of Beckham-mania saw the Englishman front-and-center in a 2-0 win. It was the first home game of the 2008 season and a national TV audience watched him score a ninth-minute goal – the first of his MLS career – and celebrate with his patented knee slide with arms outstretched, the same one he used after his goal in the England vs. Greece qualifier. Nearly half an hour later, he also dished a helper to Landon Donovan to seal it.
  • November 20, 2011: It was a fairytale ending for the LA Galaxy as they hosted MLS Cup 2011 at The Home Depot Center in what could have represented the final match for David Beckham in an LA jersey. Beckham turned hero, winning the ball and starting the play that led to Donovan’s game-winning goal against the Houston Dynamo. He would call this victory one of the most satisfying wins of his career.
  • August 15, 2007: This is exactly what MLS fans were expecting to see when Beckham signed his MLS deal: free kick goals. And it came in a SuperLiga semifinal match against D.C. United at The Home Depot Center. It was his first goal on US soil and it made highlight reels across the globe as the Galaxy won it 2-0.
  • August 18, 2007: Beckham’s second league match of his MLS career was one of the most anticipated matches in league history – and it lived up the billing. In his first trip to New York and up against another early DP, Colombian striker Juan Pablo Ángel, the Red Bulls and Galaxy lit it up for a 5-4 result in favor of the Red Bulls. Beckham contributed to the explosive start that set the tone for the match with set-piece assists in the sixth and eighth minutes, both finding Honduran forward Carlos Pavón.
  • May 3, 2008: With Galaxy down 2-0 at Rice-Eccles Stadium, Beckham took over the game with goals in the 36th and 40th minutes to wow the sell-out crowd and celebrate his birthday in grand fashion. Both were long-distance efforts and Nick Rimando will still remember them to this day. An unsightly artificial surface saw two magnificent goals that finished in the same corner.

Isaac Cuenca confirms Barcelona remains the first choice

Young Barcelona midfielder Isaac Cuenca asserts itself still prioritize defending champion of the Spanish Primera Liga.
As is known, Cuenca still in the stage of negotiations related to the new contract with Barcelona management, and development of these uncertainties make the big clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United glance.
However, Cuenca try to cool the atmosphere by asserting that he still makes Barcelona as the first choice.
"My priority is to stay with Barcelona. It would be incredible gift if I signed a new contract with Barcelona," Cuenca said.

Diego Maradona → Cristiano Ronaldo → Luis Suarez

Now, as you wonder why on earth I’ve placed those three in the same phrase, first a little background on the author’s (i.e. my) reasoning.
There are/have been several great debates in football over the years, and I’ve always had a side. I don’t like draws: it’s either win or go home (the Liverpool Way). One common thread throughout time has been ‘the best player’ debate.
I would like to hereby state that it is the position of this blog that Diego Armando MARADONA is the greatest player to ever grace the beautiful game.

I won’t go into the details of why I think so in this article (someone remind me to do that in the future). However, the reason why (in my opinion) a lot of people tend to think the G.O.A.T {greatest of all time} is one PELÉ is because Diego was (and still is) so often known for so much besides his amazing football genius. And humans being as fickle as they are will always associate his name with his off-field antics and scandals. This is in no way a glossing over of his great and many shortcomings, however, I don’t understand why people don’t CHOOSE to focus on his brilliance and all the good he did for the game…they do that everyday for Michael JACKSON and yet we all know how he liked to touch them boys had many scandals surrounding him, and yet is still fondly recalled by most!
I digress. What I was trying to communicate was that greatness is greatness, remember that!

Now, to the second character in the narrative: Cristiano RONALDO. Again I find myself in the minority in the argument of best player on the planet: I believe that the Portuguese self lover is arguably the better, more all-rounded player than the little genius Lionel MESSI. Again, that’s a whole other argument for a whole other time (someone remind me to write about that in the future). I got to watch him quite often when he was at United, and I dreaded seeing no other player stand over a dead ball/burst up the field on the counter/generally do anything on the pitch more than I did the former Red Devils’ number 7. {shiver}. However, I did not watch him play with awe/envy as I would say a Thierry Henry in his prime, because he’s so full of himself! A lot of people’s thinking of him is tainted by that fact, and it’s why he may do EXACTLY what Messi does week in week out for Barcelona at Madrid, but nobody notices. Neither does anyone factor into the argument that he is his national team’s captain and so far has (mostly) put a good show of himself in national colours.
What I am trying to communicate is that greatness is greatness, remember that!

And now, the villainous genius of the trifecta: Luis Alberto SUÁREZ. May I begin by predicting that Suárez will probably be the most exciting foreign import to the English Premier League of this decade, a legendary signing on the level of Dennis Bergkamp, Eric Cantona, Thierry Henry, Gianfranco Zola, Peter Schmeichel. A truly exceptional spot by LFC’s scouting department. The superlatives for this guy will be spewing for years. However, how do/will people think of him? For much of the African continent, the man who “unfairly” denied them a first ever semi finalist on home soil!!! {never mind the fact that Asamoah Gyan blew their greatest and SURE chance to get them there with an over-excited spot kick}. For others in the Netherlands, he’ll be forever associated with his hot Latin temper {he hasn’t showed much of it in England, but he was quite er...fiesty not too long ago}. For others still (i.e. The Daily Mail, Telegraph, and other like publications) he’s the guy that goes to ground a wee bit too easily, and likes to wind up opponents. I won’t be going into the dynamics of the negativity that surrounds Suárez, just to make a prediction that in years to come I’ll look back on and smile and say: “I told you so”:

Despite whatever shortcomings he may have, Luis Suárez is a few seasons away from being one of the 3 or 4 best footballers in the world.

AC Milan Cesare Natali Shutter

Il Corriere dello Sport reports refer to AC Milan is considering recruiting a central defender to cover absences Wednesday, Mario Yepes during the next ten weeks postoperatively right ankle.
One name that is believed to enter target list is Fiorentina doorstop, Cesare Natali. Previously Rossoneri's stronghold had reportedly been ready to pull Natali for free so the contract runs out this season.
However, Yepes injury is believed to accelerate the recruitment of Milan is now 32-year defender.

Assuming I Viola unwilling to lose the player penniless, stronghold of the San Siro should be optimistic about their purchase bids will be accepted.
Yepes own status within the squad Massimiliano Allegri is just a backup player, but with other vulnerabilities such as defender Philippe Mexes and Alessandro Nesta to injury, Milan still need a replacement.

Club World Cup

International Stadium Yokohama presents no surprises on Thursday (15/12). In the stadium with a capacity of more than 72 thousand spectators, the Barcelona successfully poured four goals without being able to reply once by Al-Sadd.
Barca victory in the semi-finals game titled World Club Cup in attendance thanks to Adriano dwigol, and each grain of Seydou Keita and Maxwell's dream was to make sure unfold duel tournament game versus Santos at the top.
Dominating the absolute beginning, Pep Guardiola's troops had difficulty penetrating the tight barricade the opponent from Qatar for 25 minutes.

Luckily, the wall collaped due to a fatal mistake Al-Sadd players themselves. Anticipating cross Pedro Rodriguez, who was so dangerous, defender Nadir Belhadj choose to direct the ball to the goalkeeper Mohamed Saqr.
Hesitated to determine whether it is a back-pass or not, the goalkeeper finally trying to do a sweep, but the ball which is right in front of goal were already snatched up rapidly by Adriano and direct entry. Barca lead 1-0.

Two minutes before the two teams entered the locker room, Adriano relisted name on the scoreboard. This time full-back Brazilian Thiago Alcantara complete feed cooked by kicking the left leg.
Before the second goal is to create Barca have lost David Villa who had pulled out due to injury while trying to catch bait gastric Andres Iniesta. Problem the striker's bad enough that he reportedly suffered fractured shin injury.

Course of action in the second half is identical as before the break. Barcelona seems clear control of the ball, while Al-Sadd like chasing shadows.
Finally in the 64th minute Barca scored the third goal. Lionel Messi breakthrough bait mature accepted Seydou Keita, who later succumbed to the cold forcing Mohamed for the third time through the slow but effective kick using the outside of his left foot from close range.
Eight minutes before disbanded, Maxwell, fell replaces Eric Abidal, a goal feast complement El Pep's Team to complete the second assists of Thiago in this fight.

Thiago Silva Want In Milan Until 2020

Often rumored to be a target of Barcelona did not wear off Thiago Silva commitment with AC Milan.
Brazilian central defender and even expressed the hope that the Red-Black jersey wearing until 2020!
Silva is currently under contract through 2016. In addition subject to the contract intend it, he also hopes to get additional duration for four more years.
"My plan is to stay here until June 2016 and after that I want to renew my contract for the next four years," he told Milan News.
"I really hope Milan vice president Adriano Galliani watched this interview so that he knows the steps that need to be taken."
If their expectations  come true, means Silva, born 22 September 1984, at least will play for Milan until the age of 36 years.
